Recovery From Injury

Tough, slow, steady after a fortnight of inactivity following a squash hamstring injury. Lungs held up, legs were okay but the hamstring was just a tad weak.

Slow and steady is the right approach after a period of inactivity 👍 and maybe for the next few runs too.

Best wishes for your continued recovery. Squash is high impact - impressed you do that, I wouldn't dare!

Squash at my weight is the main problem. I was chasing down a ball as I did when I was half my mass.

Well done. Having had a few bouts of injury myself, including a long break from running earlier this year, I know just how important it is to be patient with a comeback. Each injury teaches us a new lesson! Sorry, but I really believe that, because I think it's really rare to never get injured and seems so important to do all those physio and strengthening exercises.Good luck, including luck with your patience!
