So I moved house just over a week ago, and as expected, the week before and the week after were the busiest of my life - also had a full time job to deal with!

As such, I went just over two weeks without a run - the longest since I started C25K by a long way.

Yesterday lunchtime, it was raining and miserable but I thought I had to at least try - For some reason my head said I couldn't run anymore - I had no fitness - all the technique was gone!

Stupid I know, I actually loved it - running round a new place, I have moved from central London to the sticks, so have gone from busy road running to forests and trails - I will need new shoes!

3K on my first outing and then 5K yesterday. Today will be the same then I will try longer runs at the weekend.

The bug is most definitely still there.

How exciting! Think of all those new running routes and exploring you can do 🤗

I moved from suburbia to the countryside several years ago and am still discovering new routes.

Enjoy 🙂

Sounds good. You’ll be breathing in lots of phytochemicals emitted from forest trees. It’s said to help fight against disease. Must be better than traffic fumes any day. 🙂

That’s awesome! I live rural and looooove running through the trails and the open air and views 🥰 Congrats with the move and well done for getting out there!

Ah congrats on the move, and of course on the run! Moving is tough, it sounds as though the run was much needed. How exciting to have all those new routes to explore on your doorstep 😁.
