Yesterday I ran the final run of week 5 - 8k. I actually ran 8.12k - the extra 120 metres got me home again!
Splits as follows, if anyone is interested:
1 6'31"
2 6'38"
3 6'22"
4 6'53"
5 6'42"
6 6'35"
7 6'26"
8 6'16"
The 3rd and 4th k were slower because the path is stony and uneven with tree roots etc, and in the 4th k a couple of trees had fallen across the path so I had so clamber over them ...
Overall I was very happy with my run and looking forward to the coming week - though I'm slightly apprehensive about 9k ... I'll let you know how it goes!

Just take it slow and steady and you will be fine. At this point in the plan, the hardest thing is sometimes working out a route that accommodates the distance. That aside, you've got this, all your hard work getting to this point will see you through.
Great effort and a good pace. If you are apprehensive just try to slow down slightly, you’re doing great so far and nothing to say you won’t manage 9k. Happy running 🤗
