Went better, spurred on by the cheers of fellow Parkrunners at the finish. Poor sods had to wait 10 minutes for my grand finale. I was dead last behind people with dogs, people with kids & at least one mum wheeling a stroller with not one but three toddlers packed in there. She passed me on her way back placing around 5th overall. I want to see her at 57 lugging 135kg.
My run comprised W2R2 of the B210K programme, 3x15-min runs with 2x1-min walks in-between, plus the 5-min warm-up & cool-down walks. I finished the 5km before the cool-down walk, so skipped it to chat with a fellow ex-South African & cooled down seated in the car writing this.

Good for you BigLebowski, nice run for you, pretty good for that mum finishing 5th wheeling a stroller with 3 toddlers, maybe triplets in it, good luck for your B210K, onwards and upwards 🏃🏾
Well done getting out and completing your 5k for week 2. Each to their own, you run your race, let others run theirs it’s far more important that we all actually do what we can. Happy running 🤗
Congratulations! You got out there, you did it and, despite what you think the time could be much worse. You must be running with gazelles - some of whom have baby gazelles in triplet.
