Up at the crack of dawn, well nearly.

I've enjoyed reading your posts about running with the sunrise. And been very impressed as I'm a confirmed night owl. Or so I thought. Somehow this morning I was awake as the light began to come up and I decided to just do it. A bit bleary eyed I didn't quite make it out to catch the actual sunrise but nonetheless oh my, it was absolutely gorgeous. Mist hanging over the grass, beautiful herringbone clouds, low sunlight glinting off the dew-laden seed heads. All topped off by very quiet traffic (for around here anyway) and just a handful of other people which seemed to inspire comradely smiles, also pretty unusual around here.

Thank you insomnia, what a treat 🌄 😁. I might even do it again 😉

Perfect! A perfect photograph and a perfect reason to continue running in the early morning:) Well done you!

Thank you! That was my favourite but I stopped so many times to take photos that it was my slowest flat run for ages. I've decided enjoying it was much more important than sticking to the plan. It was beautiful but I'm not sure if I'm ready to completely change my ways 😉

Lol. It was lovely, I'm glad I gave it a try. But I've been really feeling that early start all day 💤 So I'd like to do it again, but perhaps when dawn gets a bit later.
