Definitely feeling better!

Yesterday I went out for the first run of the new week (with the run increased in time) and I'm definitely feeling a little more oiled and less creaky! I'm feeling like I'm remembering how to run again, which is reassuring. It was an increase of 10% on last week's runs of 30 minutes, so the run was 33 minutes / around 6k.

I'm also finding that my paced has naturally increased a little, getting a little closer towards what my pace had been. I'm still not allowed to go fast / do strides or anything which is a shame because I've been feeling the urge! I've also been told to stay away from hills so my runs are currently on the flat (or mostly flat!).

For injury prevention sake I'm keeping the runs at 3x / week, but especially with work this fits it very nicely! My physio appointment is just next week so that wil be the decider on what happens next :)

Great to hear that you're doing so well, and well done for not giving in to temptation and haring off into the distance! Good luck with the physio 🤞
