I’ve managed to run 10k on my last three runs. Yeah!!!!

14th July 10:07k in 1:04:27

16th July 10:03k in 1:02:44

19th July 10:01k in 57:09

I feel super proud to have come this far as I was completely new to running this year. This group has really helped to give me the encouragement and belief that I could do it so thank you all.

Will probably do some shorter runs now I have convinced myself I can do it 🤣.

Well done 👏👏 I find it easier to do a couple of 10Ks at the weekend nd a couple of 5Ks during the week, early mornings at the weekend about 8 o clock during the week, its too hot during the day at the moment..

That sounds like a lot of running. Not up to your standard yet but live in hope and will keep on running. Agree about being too hot during the day at the moment so went really early today. Well earned day off tomorrow.

Usually means each kilometre is faster throughout the run.

That's very impressive NR5K , three 10ks in such fast times, well done.

Without wanting to spoil your enjoyment, though, I agree that it would probably be a good idea to take it a bit easier now. I understand the temptation to keep doing more and more just to prove you can, as I did it myself! From what you say you're new to running, and 14 months after starting C25K, I've found it really does take time to build strength and fitness.

Happy running!

Thank you for your comments which are much appreciated. I have planned a 30 minute run tomorrow (if it isn’t too hot) I will take it steady and see how far I get. 😊😊
