Oh poor you, I hope you are feeling better. Please don’t try any heroics while you recover. How about just putting your runners on a choose a happy close to heme short route just to see how you’re feeling. No pressure on distance or speed, nice and slow just to remind your muscles what they used to do. The weather is no doubt different now from 6 weeks ago so you have that to adapt to too. When you see how that goes we can help you build a plan to get back to where you were. Happy running 🤗

Thank you for good advice very helpful

I agree with Grannyhugs, first see how your body feels. Unfortunately I fear you won't be able to continue where you left off. At least, I could not repeat any long runs after my 3 week of no running. I am just building up from 30 minutes again. A bit faster than how I reached my 10K, but still building up again. But as GH suggests, just put on your shoes and go for a slow run. Nothing fast, just slow and see what your body says.

I've always found initial improvement after time off to be pretty rapid. Yes, you'll obviously have to build things up again (the short run from W1 might be as good a place as any to start) but you'll probably find there's no need to do the whole plan again, after 2 or 3 weeks running 3 times a week you'll likely be back to where you were. That of course assumes your fall didn't cause any muscle damage, and you're fully recovered from the effects of the concussion ....

All the best!

Yes to all of the above. That must've been a very nasty fall, hope you're fully recovered. All the best!
