Haven't been out for a week, so I was determined to get out this morning π
I made it out of the house as quickly as I could and got going at about half eight. In the end it wasn't that bad. I tried to stick to shady paths, although I did beat a hasty retreat down one lane as I headed into a cloud of lizcanrun-eating beasties, I'd rather face the sun!
In the end it was very pleasant, but the highlight was Jeni Eclair's description of a seagull stealing her sandwich while she was on holiday in Cornwall, which made me laugh so much I had to slow down! (Older & Wider podcast).
Ironically, considering what I've just written, as I sit here in the garden, one of the little blighters has just bitten me! π‘

Well done and in the heat too! I have a Evy-biting something in my apartment. Haven't found the bugger yet, but it seems as if I wake up every night with a new bite. She (if it's a mosquito only the females bite) also seems to like my nose. First had one on the tip of my nose, when that was gone I had one on the bottom of my nose and afterwards (now) on the side of my nose. Maybe she thinks I should go apply for a job as a clown...
