Don't suppose anyone will be looking at this forum right now, as i think a certain football game has just started and we may have scored!! 🤩.
My 2 pairs of Brooks are nearing their end, and although Im a size 4 in normal shoes, Ive also got a size 5 in brooks. So my question is, do you all normally go a size up for your running shoes or stay true to your normal day to day size, or does it depend on the brand of your shoes??
Also, if I change from brooks, any recommendations?? I only do road running unforunately.
Thanks in advance veryone!

I don’t know about Brooks but if they suit your running style I’d stick with what you know unless you can get a gait analysis, I’ve read that most people go a size up for most shoes and definitely for Asics as they come up small, I have Reeboks and stick to my usual size. Always best to try on before you buy though as they are all so different size wise, our clock is a few minutes slow so we missed the first goal as were talking and I’m going to read through the game
Sorry, was there something going on tonight about a ball and a foot🤷🏽♀️ I’m brooks too and always go up at least a half size. As you run your feet are naturally pushed towards the front of your shoe so that extra space gives them room to not be hit. Be advised by your running shop. Happy running 🤗
Most runners go for a gait analysis and buy the recommended shoes which are a size up from their normal shoes, by the way the latest score in the European Final at 19 minutes is Italy 0-England 1
I had a gait analysis quite a few years ago, s thats why I got into Brooks. Hadn't thought about going for another one, as didnt know if my running would have changed, but I guess that is possible, so may I should.🤫
I have just bought Altras and the website had a size chart and suggested measuring feet in cm then reading the size off the chart. The trainers have got what feels like a huge toe area (compared to my old NB). I bought my regular size and they fit really nice with plenty room at the front. I guess it's brand dependent. Weird tho why a lot of manufacturers don't just make running shoes for the size of feet making people buy a different size! Surely they know feet will swell and need more room, it's bonkers 😆
