Having run just over 5k twice this week I thought it might be an idea to do something a bit 'less' challenging for my final run this week. Decided on NRC 'In the zone', five four minute intervals with a couple of minutes between. I thought it'd be like going back to the middle of c25k.
Oh no, completely different! I suppose it might be because it was warmer today but I found it really hard work. Although I only actually ran 3.1 km it felt much further. In my defence, the total distance I covered was over 5km as I like a good few minutes walking as a warm up.
It hasn't put me off though 😁
