Indoors on treadmill: I started week 3 about a week ago but my knees were giving me jip so I had an enforced rest. I played a gentle game of football on Sunday and then resumed my HM training yesterday with day 2 - an uphill speed run - which was really an incline on the treadmill. I was due to take a rest day today but decided to go and do another interval speed run with runs of 7 minutes at effort 8 and 2.5 minute rests in between. I don’t think my knees are any better after the lay off but they’re not any worse either. Will keep monitoring them. I’m due to do a recovery run tomorrow and then a 5 mile (8K) run on Friday. We will see how the week goes…

Well done on getting in all those runs plus football! 💪 Do take care of those knees, maybe leave some more days between runs to give them a bit more time to recover. Have you spoken to a physio about those niggles?
