I never really went away was always reading your uplifting and inspiring posts but not getting out there myself.

Such a bad start to the year with me tripping up in a car park fracturing my big toe getting mild concussion, so happy on completing the 10k.

6 weeks of being on the IC I start again with a club that was doing C25K boy it was hard work, completed it though and got a medal.

Following week house sale fell through for the 3rd time buyers chain broke down.

The dreaded depression took over, I got conjunctivitus, then my cartilage in my chest was inflamed(this could last for months says the gp) thanks says I, not helping my depression is it.

Last Saturday seemed to be the turning point I woke cheerful took my little dog on a 5 mile walk bless her she was exhausted when we got home . Took her out again on Sunday for another one.

Monday went back to the running club managed the 5k albeit walking and running, also went back to the gym ( got to try and shift this extra stone somehow) still finding the breating hard even though my pace is 9.45 still it will come

Positivity is now back and we have someone coming to view the bungalow so hopefully this will be the right time.

Thank you everyone for your lovely posts , enjoyed reading them all even though it was all in one go 😁😁

Great to see you back, what a year you’ve had, your pace is faster than mine so you could slow down even more to sort your breathing out

Glad you're back doggytail, you've had a rough start to the year right enough. Hope you get lucky with house sale this time.

Ah well done you. And what a time you’ve had of it! I am so pleased your positivity has come back, and that you did that 5k. I imagine your little dog also has lots more walks to look forward to as well 😊.

Welcome back! Great to see you posting again 🤗 A very tough year but it sounds like you've turned a corner. Fitness is always a work in progress but it's hard starting again after a long break. Well done on joining the running club, going back to the gym and all those long walks with your dog! You'll soon start noticing the benefits 👍😊
