So I did 5km yesterday and again my legs felt like lead weights and my feet felt flat and like they were slapping on the floor ๐. I was almost embarrassed that they would be noisy over-taking walkers in the park. Is this just hydration? I felt Iโd drunk quite well during the morning, too. It was 23 degrees. Itโs odd how one day you do well and the next you feel like an elephant. Still felt good to have got through it, though, as it was so tough. Maybe I was faster than I realised. Slow down!
By the way, how do I know if Iโve been given the 10km badge?

๐ I know that feeling too, heavy legs and feeling like an elephant ๐ ๐ Good to hear it could just be hydration though @Instructor57, I am trying to keep an eye on that ๐๐ผ Well done Chesterlove!
Running in the heat feels hard and can sap energy so you did well to get out to do 5K. I hate the heat and shrivel like a delicate little flower ๐ฅต๐ and yes the legs do sometimes feel really heavy.
Like Instructor57 if I donโt keep up to date with my water intake then I really feel it on my runs. Aim for a nice pale straw colour for your urine to show youโre well hydrated ๐
