Whoop new trainer day

Omg I have patiently waited with my Xmas gift voucher from our local superb sports shop to get new trainers....and yesterday was the day.....all excited to do gait analysis, try on new trainers, pick my favourite....last time round for my first ever proper trainers I didn’t know what to expect, still doing C25k and felt a bit of a fraud and out of my depth....but the staff were amazing even if I did end up with horrid dusky pink trainers (hate pink) as they fit the best. In I stride, feeling so different from that first time, a seasoned plodder now...and wasn’t expecting the...”do you like the feel of your old ones?” Err yes I reply....”do you want to stick with them?” Err yes I reply....why I had not thought of that??!! So in the shortest time possible I try on normal fit and wide, agree normal is best, they fit great as confirmed my shop assistant and there I am bosh new lovely trainers in blue 😊 Super happy and about to give them a proper whirl!

Ooh, new shoes! Nice. I’m with you on the pink issue, why oh why is pink the default for women’s sports and outdoor wear. And it’s usually not even a nice pink, usually a muddy dusty purply pink. Why is nothing ever red?BTW the blue look really good, your feet will be flying 😁
