Finished the couch to 5km last week. I'm aiming for 3 runs (or rather in my case, ahem, jogs!) a week going forwards. During the 9 week programme I religiously left one or two rest days. But allowing a rest day might be difficult at some points this summer. So now, when needed, is it OK to jog two days on the trot? Thanks!

It really isn't advised until you're a very established runner and your body is well used to it. Having just completed c25k I would really work to avoid it. People's idea of when varies between 6 months and 1 Yr in.
Having suffered the effects of overdoing it I can tell you it's not good. It will stop you running altogether for a while so I would say better on those weeks that you can't manage 3, just do 2 and add a few more minutes onto one of them instead 👍🏻
I'll add the link to post c25k running in a sec which has a section dealing with this question too...

I’m running over 4 years now. Rest days are very important for healing and developing muscles. Enjoy them. If you want go for a good power walk. Burns just as many calories and will help with fitness too.
I’ve also completed c25k in the last 3 wks, and at first I was still leaving a days rest but this wk due to commitments I’ve run/jogged 3 days in a row. I did feel okay and also improved my pace but I definitely don’t want to make a habit of doing that. Well done for completing the 9 wks
