London Vitality 10k at Hatfield House on 11 July anyone?

Hello VRB's

For any of you who signed up for the London Vitality 10k this year will know that it's been postponed from May to July, and is now taking place on Sun 11 July at Hatfield House instead of starting at Hyde Park.

That's quite a sklep for most of us - so just wondering if anyone is planning to go? I've never run with other people, and was really looking forward to a shared experience for my 1st 10k (haven't quite managed that yet), so it would be great to know if I'm going it alone or some other lovely HU buddies might be there?

A good number of us have decided to defer to next year 58soon. We really fancied running in London itself. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️😀

Sorry 58soon, I’ve decided to defer until next year as I was hoping to stay with my son in London (and run in London ). Disappointed not to get to meet up and run with our VRB’s this time but Hatfields too far for a day trip. Next year 🤞 🤗

I was really hoping to do the deferred run, but it really is the wrong side of London for us, and very early . It is a great venue though and I’m sure it will be a great day.

I too have deferred, I had finished my couch to 5k early Feb and was using the Vitality10 as a goal to work towards. ( I hadn't run for a few years but have run many 10ks in past so thought I would start at beginning) I too wanted to run in London, had booked the bank holiday off as I usually have to work, was running with my daughter and son who both live in London and was disappointed it was deferred but also Hatfield and the 11 July was not an option for me. I can at least book next years race date and an hoping it will return to London. My daughter is doing the Asics 10k I think also July.

Thanks for all your replies. It's a long way for me too - when I can run 10k here. So I'll let you know if and when I make my 10k - almost there!
