I bought a fitbit inspire 2 last year and for the life of me I can't read my heart rate as the font is too small (can't be changed). What other trackers are out there that are easy to read? One that doesn't require me to wear reading glasses. (I'm over 50)

What fitness tracker is good for people that need reading glasses? ie. One that has large fonts.
I wear bifocals when running. I even have bifocal sunglasses.
I don’t know about that tracker but can you overcome the reading problem by setting alerts? I know I’ve done this in the past on my garmin, it buzzes if my HR gets above a set level. Happy running 🤗
I've got the same "getting old" problem. I am looking at a fitness tracker or running watch and a suggestion someone had when researching them was to consider those watches with voice cues where it can tell you through your headphones your desired metrics (distance, time, pace, heart rate etc). Saves you from looking at your watch and better than just a vibration. Not all watches have this feature though.
Oooo...I like that!
I'm not sure how well they work though as I've never used one. But I know that some of the recent Garmin Forerunner watches have this feature but other Garmin models don't. Surprisingly it isn't a feature highly listed on all their comparison features list. You have to dig a bit deeper into the reviews or do a Google search
I don't have a watch, but is there one that will sync with a phone app that will talk to you? I know my runkeeper app talks to me through my earphones, but I track my heart rate so I don't know if it does that, might be worth looking into
just checkedsupport.runkeeper.com/hc/en...
it says
"If you want your audio cues to include your heart rate information, go into your app settings" so a bluetooth heart monitor would sync with runkeeper and tell you your heart rate - might be cheaper than a new watch
disclaimer - I don't know if this is on the free runkeeper or if you have to pay
I have a Garmin vivoactive 3 music. The font for pace, time and distance is large. The font for HR is smaller, but I can read it without my glasses.
Although this is an old model, the Forerunner 35 is great for screen display and I find pressing the buttons to start and stop is easier than using a touch screen . It’s very cheap compared to when I bought mine 3 years ago too - I suggest you shop around (I chose this purely for the picture) . Different colour straps available! I have mine set to sync automatically to Strava too.
My OH uses his as his day watch too, and can see without reading glasses.
I just got a Garmin 245. Still playing with it but I have one setting that just shows HR on the screen and I can read it easily without my reading glasses. It also has a coloured band round the edge with green to red colouring and an arrow showing where your heart rate is compared to your set zones.
I recently changed the settings on my Vivoactive 3. When running the 'Data Screens' show 4 fields. If you have 1, 2, or 3 fields the text is bigger making it much easier to read. Before having a Garmin watch I used Runkeeper app and through the phone speakers or headphones it gives you your stats.
Hoping that is useful?
