Personal COGH update

I would really LOVE to contribute 1,000 kms to our relay. This week is tough at work though and I’m tired already. I need just over 75k, but with less than a week to go that will be very tough!

You have done a massive distance, it’s truly amazing. 75km is indeed a massive distance to cover and I would say it’s just a number, in the whole scale of things going on in the world at the moment it’s really insignificant. However I too chase numbers. I’ve been running RED May which means I’ve cut back on my walking so not contributing so much to COGH, however I’ve been aiming for nice round numbers - 100 mules would be awesome, but I’ve reached that, if can run another 40km that’s 200km - so I totally get how you’re feeling but we need to both remember they are just numbers😂 happy running 🤗

To be fair most of mine is walking - and I’ve always been a walker. There are loads of runners on the relay who have contributed way more running mileage. Just getting ready for a morning run. I need to at least try for that 75k - but, as you say, it’s just numbers! I won’t beat myself up if it doesn’t work!

Enjoy your run, I’m one of those front runners - check me out on the list, I was chasing you in the first couple of weeks until I saw your post about all the walking you did 😂 then settled back to leave you leading the way🤗

I know I couldn’t do RED without a severe risk of injury or just being bone-tired/exhausted. But I can walk 10k a day, every day no problem. So I bow down to all those who run every day.
