Anyone used Garmin coaching plans?

Hey - I’m just wondering if anyone knows whether my watch (vivoactive 4s) will show my distance when I go for my first 10k tomorrow? I want to do a 5k out and return route. All my runs til now have been on a timer rather than distance.

SImple answer is Yes, but read the manual first. There are a couple of things you will need to setup the first time.

Thanks. I’m allergic to manuals but I suppose sometimes it has to be done.

If you are doing a training plan run, and you get to the end and you still need to run a bit further to get to 10k, wait until the watch says you're done, but instead of tapping the watch face, press the button on the side, and you can keep running.

If you just want to run for 10k though, press the button, then when your screen offers you the option "run" tap the watch face and follow the instructions.

Good luck with your first 10k!
