Vitality Virtual 10,000, my number

See you on the start line Al πππββοΈ
See you at the start line, if you look closely I have written that I will start the run at nine o'clock in the morning.
I've not thought that far ahead π
Still plenty of time to think about thatπ
I don't even know what day I will run yet π€£
????
its scheduled window is Saturday 29 May to Sunday 6 June
That's nine daysππΎ
Yes π
I shall wait for the weather forecast π€£
PS, just as a matter of interest, this Sunday morning I WALKED πΆ10K in a time of 1.47.31, that compares with last Wednesdays 10K RUNππΎtime of 1.13.08 on about 90% of the same route, according to Mapmywalk, I took 12,876 steps this morning.
Interesting π
Like me, I know that you like statistics Ian, when I run a 5K it's usually around 33/35 minutes, I often walk 5K, especially on a Sunday morning although today was 10K, my average walking times for 5K are around 53/56 minutes, I have cycled 5K in a time of 18 minutes going all out, of course some elite runners can go faster than that, it makes me appreciate on how fast those runners can run.
Absolutely, I have also walked and cycled my 5k routes and as you say , makes you realise what some elites can do .I think at the moment you are running your 5 and 10k quicker than I am .
I'm around 38 Min for 5k although my PB is 32+
And 1hr:19 for my 10k
But at the moment I'm wanting to concentrate on distance and not too bothered about my pace π

Very best of luck Al. I hope you will run another sub-75 minute run on the dayπ

Nice! I got mine yesterday. I know I won't be able to run the whole 10k but I might go for a run/walk, see how it goes...

Brilliant Alan, Iβll be virtually cheering you on πββοΈ

Good luck AlMorrπ

My number is 10052!

Good luck Alan - I shall have to go out that week and see if I can spot any other runners!

See you on the start line. π

Good luck Alan πββοΈ

Mine is 4942. Good luck all.

I received my number in the post too! Looks like there are a lot of us taking part.

I'm 7822....exciting having it arrive π

Wow how exciting Al, Goid luck π§Έπππ¦πΎπ§π»βππ±

Good luck
Good luck, I'll have to look for my pom-poms!
Yes, you are running /walking it as well πββοΈπΆββοΈ
The distance is a bit too far for me. I've managed a 7k walk this week, so I'm heading in the right direction. Not allowed to run at the moment, not even run/walk. I'm trying to be patient!
Sorry about that, I just hope it won't be too long before you can run again.
Thank youπ
Just a little note to say that this morning I ran another practice run for the Vitality London Virtual 10,000, this morning it was my 12th 10K, my time was 1.13.03 which was 5 seconds faster than last week, I was passed by ONE runner who was running at about a 57 minutes 10K paceππΎ
Hi Al did you enjoy your vitality London virtual 10k yesterday? Hope it went well for you. Looking forward to your postππx
I did enjoy the run but disaster struck at the very end, the app failed to record the run, although I did remember my split 5K time of 35.50 which I used as my 51st not parkrun, the 10K was 1.11.45.This Saturday morning I intend to rerun it, hopefully this time there won't be any problems with the app and I can post it to Vitality.
Thatβs a shame Al! Good luck for Saturday. Iβm sure you get the result recorded successfully! π€π€
