I have only just graduated( Fri day) and thought I would try the nhs stepping stone podcast. Oh my goodness, that was so fast, I only lasted a few minutes, especially as it said the pace would be getting faster! I just carried on under my own steam for another 30 minutes ..does anyone have any ideas for a less scary transition into ongoing running . I have managed to run 4.5 k in my 30 min , but mean to carry on relatively gently .( I'm 63!)
Many thanks

Welcome to the bridge .If you graduated on Friday you would be best advised to consolidate your 30 min runs for a few weeks before attempting stepping stones 😁
Thank you for that advice. I do like the goal orientated approach. So I suppose I could just put Jo Wiley back on again for a few weeks until I go a bit faster.
That’s what I did Downsrunner - I just took Laura with me and repeated week 9 for 3 weeks. After that I felt confident enough to go it alone. I’m sure if you do something similar, you’ll be able to cope with faster, further, longer or anything else! Enjoy!
