I did 3 stepping stones (30 mins) last week. Today I did it again but think I will get bored doing this for 12 weeks. Going to do the speed one on Wednesday as I am very slow. I have the NRC app so might try that next week.

I couldn’t take to the stepping stones podcasts. All you need to do it run. Forget about podcasts and running apps etc. Your a C25K graduate. Just get used to running 5K x 3 times per week. Try running with and without music. Enjoy it, you’ll soon get used to running without the app and the freedom. Happy running.
I need the encouragement that the app gives. I don’t think I will be at that stage for a few months
I thought so too. But I soon learnt that I much preferred running without the App. I now rarely run with my phone or music. I’ve been running now for about 4 years. I love the peace of just running and my own thoughts. Just enjoy it. That is the most important thing. You could just continue on with the week 9 plan for a while.
This might help between running you can do Strength and Flex exercises with Laura as your personal coach.

I download running music, for my Walkman, from Amazon. You can choose anything from 150 to 180 BPM. I do most of my running beside a busy A road so music helps drown out the road noise as well helping me maintain a steady pace. I did try running a short distance along the Thames path with nothing in my ears, and found I enjoyed that too.😀

I’d recommend the NRC app. There are loads of different runs on there to mix things up a bit. Podcasts, audio books and a great music playlist are good too.
