Week four completed!! π¦π¦π¦π¦π¦π¦π¦π¦
I had a much needed lay in this morning, so ended up going out for a late morning dressed in my running shorts and vest top. It wasnβt very warm in South West London today was overcast and quiet humid, I kept looking for the sunshineπβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ I felt the run went well, although I could feel the difference with humidity but I felt very strong and steady and SO ready to complete week 4. It felt so magical running the last 5 minute section and I did say out loud βwell done Becπ§Έβ π₯βοΈπ₯βοΈπ₯βοΈπ₯βοΈπ₯βοΈπ₯βοΈπ₯βοΈπ₯βοΈI reflected on how four weeks ago I was experiencing chest tightness after 5 minutes of very slow jogging so being able to run 16 minutes in total, longer than I had walked meant so very much to me. β€οΈπβ€οΈπβ€οΈπβ€οΈπβ€οΈπβ€οΈπ ππππππππππππππππ I truly am so excited to be starting week five, 5οΈβ£5οΈβ£5οΈβ£5οΈβ£5οΈβ£5οΈβ£5οΈβ£5οΈβ£5οΈβ£5οΈβ£5οΈβ£5οΈβ£5οΈβ£5οΈβ£5οΈβ£5οΈβ£ I am aware my big challenge is going to be the third run but I am hopeful I can do this. I hope you donβt mind but I wanted to share with you what an amazing month March has been for me:
I have built back up to working 3 early shifts a weekπ§π»βππ§π»βππ§π»βππ§π»βππ§π»βππ§π»βππ§π»βππ§π»βππ§π»βππ§π»βππ§π»βππ§π»βππ§π»βπ
Worked hard on building up my strength by getting out there and walking everyday π€ΈπΌββοΈπ€ΈπΌββοΈ

I want to thank you all for all your inspiration and support it has meant a lot and helped me so much.
Oh Iβll too say Well done Bec!! πππ Iβm so pleased for you, itβs scary when you still feel weak and your chest is still tight when you think you should be over it, thatβs one very nasty virus. Iβve really enjoyed reading your posts and seeing you go from strength to strength xx
Thank you so much Sola and for all your support and kindness to me, it really has meant so much. I hope you are enjoying your time off work. You are doing so amazing with your running. Take care π₯°π»π₯° xxx
Thank you too, yes itβs great being off, today is a rest day and itβs peaceful and quiet here listening to the outside sounds of birds (mostly seagulls) and reading a few posts on here, have a good day and enjoy the sun. I saw on my phone yesterday snow is promised for Monday π π we didnβt get it in January so I think we wonβt worry. Have a great day xx
So happy for you! You really are going from strength to strength. Itβs wonderful that you have managed to complete Week 4 (quite easily) without experiencing that chest tightness and also that you can manage 3 shifts at work. Your determination has got you to this point and you are so inspiring. Early morning running and the springtime weather seem to have played a part, too! Well done my lovely running friend ππππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπππ

March has been a great month for you- and a terrible one for me!- only just getting back into the 'flow' of running - it's been a slog!- but I'm getting there π€
Excellent run and post from you Rebecca with all those symbols ππππππΎππΎππΎππΎπ, we here on C25K and Healthunlocked like to think that we inspire each other and you certainly do.
Many thanks Al, that is really lovely of you to say. Lol I went a bit over the top with the emojis, was very happy to have completed week four. I hope you are keeping well. Take care π
Update 11 am Just back from my 10K walk Rebecca, I began the walk at exactly 9 o'clock and completed it a 10.50 am walked at 11km pace, I usually walk an 8K on a Thursday but I noticed yesterday that on the COGH website that I had ran/walked 190Kilometers, so to make up 200K for COGH I decided to walk 10K this morning
... and guess what Rebecca, I signed up this afternoon for the Vitality Virtual LONDON 10,000, I will gradually increase, by 1 Kilometre a week to 10K, well before the end of May when that run is due to take place, remember that it can be ran anywhere, so I don't need to come down to your home city.
Aw thank you so much!! Lol I have a very determined streak!!! Lol oh yes very much all or nothing!
Thank you so much for the great advice that is an excellent point and thank you for all your advice and support from when I did my original C25K, this is the advice you gave me last time!!

Itβs good to hear you are going from strength to strength and doing so well. I would agree that a vegan diet can give you loads of strength because my daughter does weightlifting and is tiny!
I think you will manage W5 no problem as you have amazing will power and loads of determination.
That was such a wonderful read! You are clearly so happy and proud of your progress - and you have every right to be. Well done Rebecca! You are so determined and with such positivity I'm sure you will absolutely smash week 5 πͺWay to go you! Brilliant!

Iβm good thanks. Managed a couple of walks on some days as itβs nice to do one at a quicker pace. My nearly 3yo has conquered the steep coastal path a few times this week.Heβs wanted to get to the top without going in the pushchair, so proud π₯°.
