Congratulations to you Kish247 on running your first 10K, well done, remember to tell the administrators, after that you will see the words Graduate10 next to your username on this forum, keep to 10K runs for the moment to increase your pace and speed, perhaps you may get a sub 75 minutes 10K soon, good luck.
Well done! NRC has a guided fartlek run that is quite fun, itβs with Coach Bennet and there a 7min warm up run then 10mins fartlek. Itβs helped me get faster, maybe give that a go! You wonβt need a smart watch as he tells you when to go π have a lovely day ππ»ββοΈ
Thank you LouiseA , much appreciated. I've downloaded First Fartlet Run now so will see about doing that this week.
I've also downloaded Inspired Run by Coach Cory as he lives local to me so want to give a run of his a go now that I'm going to start mixing it up again
Well done Kish247, thatβs brilliant! Itβs a great feeling ππββοΈ. I only did my 2nd 10k today, and like you was struggling around 8/9k. It didnβt help that my Fitbit thought Iβd run further than Coach Bennett said I had! Anyway, CONGRATULATIONS! Enjoy the rest of the day. ππΌππΌππΌ
Thank you Jools2020 - I'm definitely looking forward to not being on a plan again but I know I'll miss having a target to work towards soon. I think I'll look in to speed improvements now
Brilliant! Well done on your first 10k.ππͺπππ A real milestone. You have definitely earned a beer and a takeaway π
As others have said there's an NRC Fartlek run. Or you can just go freestyle and sprint between random landmarks on some of your runs. You don't need a smartwatch for that.
