What a fab morning for a 30 min ploddle with CB💓 and Head Starts. I've got a bit of a niggle in my groin and my PT suggested running on the beach or grass, softer than pavement. So I did and it felt easier although can still feel it a little afterwards, hmm wonder what it is. Anyway take note of this almost empty beach which in a few weeks will be absolutely chokka with holiday people. I'm gonna make the most of it before they come, then we'll be off in the motorhome finding our own little piece of quiet somewhere. 🤞Had enough of this lockdown malarkey, the only thing, apart from hot cross buns & Easter eggs, that I look forward to is running! Enjoy!🤣

That beach looks like a real haven - what a lovely run you must have had, although I understand sand can feel like heavier going.I was interested to hear of your niggle as I have the same when running where leg meets trunk of the body. It's fine when not running. I'm told it's probably hip flexor and do gentle stretching.
If you know of a likely cause, I'd be keen to know, meantime enjoy your runs on the beach while you can.

Funnily it didn't feel like heavier going, praps cos I was liking it. I did a lot of googling and came up with Osteitis Pubis. I think I need to do more adductor exercises maybe ... Or James Dunne has a good three session plan which looks like it might help. Have a good week 😊

How wonderful and I’m feeling envious of your motorhome as it sounds like a great escape. We could all do with some of that 👍
