First 8km in the bag

I'm still struggling with every run (!) but did my first 8km today (Ju Ju's plan week 4, run 3). First 4km awful. Next 3km still awful. Last 1km went on for ever and I thought my app had stopped working :-) But it's done, so I know I can do it! My pace is still around 7.20 but I'm telling myself it's not bad for an overweight, menopausal 50 year old.

I'd say 7.20 per km is good for us ladies of a certain age! We'll done on making it to 8k, you're so nearly there. I won't promise it gets easy, but it definitely gets easier and there's nothing wrong with running slower, it sounds strange but going slower on a long run will end up making you go faster in the end!

Well done! Of course you can do it!😉

That’s faster than me! I’m chuffed that my 4km pace has crept under 9/km 😂

The second 8km will be fine 🥰🐌🐢🏃🏻‍♀️
