After missing 3 weeks of runs due to illness and the weather I forced myself to go out this week. Run 1- 4K 6.46 /k and I was exhausted. Run 2 - 4.5k 6.32/k and thought my heart was going to burst out of my chest. Run 3 - 5k 6.26/k and I am kna*****d!!

Hopefully next week will be a little easier and I soon get back to where I was. 😅🤞🏻

Well done to you Womengolfer on getting out there for that run, congratulations. I hope your next run next week will be easier.

I felt the same starting running again in Jan after having Covid over Xmas. First couple of runs were hard but they got better (and quicker 😁). You will be back to form in no time.

Well done for getting out. Those were fast runs. Maybe take it slower next time you go out and just enjoy it?!

I really struggle to go slow. Go out intending a 7min/k but my legs just won’t go that slow 🤣

Well done Womangolfer. You maybe knackered but your fitness is returning. I'm sure as you continue it will be better 👏👏👏

My goodness those were fast speeds after 3 weeks off, no wonder your tired. Slow down a bit and build back up 🤣 happy running 🤗
