Exercise Induced Rhinitis?

I think I'm suffering from EIR and it's driving me nuts! 10 mins after getting back from a morning run I'm sneezing and blowing my nose for the entire day. It's like a full blown cold and whatever I do doesn't seem to help. I've tried anti-histamines but they're not touching it. Any suggestions please as I really don't want to give up running? Thanks!

It could just be the early spring pollen causing it. I used to run with streaming eyes and nose, this seems to have stopped by wearing wrap around glasses, mine are expensive prescription ones but there are plenty of cheap ones available. Take care 🤗

Thank you. I hadn't thought of wearing glasses. I'll look into it 😎

I don't have the same, but when running I have a constantly runny nose. For a run of 30 minutes, I have to take along 4 handkerchiefs which are dripping wet after I finish. Very annoying, as I have to wipe or blow my nose literally every 2 minutes or something, which seriously breaks up my pace.

That would be annoying. Not what you want to be doing during a run 🙁
