5km walk

I did a 5km brisk walk today instead of jog 48.49 in wellingtons and yaxtrack. It was -1 and had too many layers on but not as cold as8.30 when went shopping -10. A lot of snow on pavements and plenty in fields and take a while to go . Thought I would see how the grips were and never slid about and gives you confidence for walking or running. Probably get out at weekend.

That's a pretty good time for a 5K walk, especially when you were walking in Wellington Boots/ welly boots if you are Scottish, I wouldn't think that you would run a 5K in Wellington Boots, especially if it was sub 30 minute's 🏃🏾

Yes wellies ALMorr Scottish as well southern Scotland . No way could I run that fast sub 30 minutes I always seem to get a sore back when I do a brisk walk and wondering if it’s with heel strike when walking or it’s my posture. Partner says I don’t slouch and I’m upright. Thank you 🙏

They do sound worth having especially in places that have a lot of ice and snow
