So glad you confirmed that running in snow has an impact on your legs. My first snow run was yesterday and although I was running at my chatty pace, I struggled to keep it chatty. Enjoyed it though.
looks like you have had lots more snow than us - pictures are lovely
You have my sympathies, we're exactly the same here in Ayrshire. Went out and bought a second hand treadmill, but not loving it 🤔. Nothing beats getting out there. Let's hope we haven't to endure much more of this. Safe running. 👍
Hello you. Yes its crazy how much snow fell in such a short space of time. You're right nothing beats getting outside . So for now , dog walking it is. You might have to give it time to get used to your treadmill. I know its not the same, maybe some music in your ears😊👍
Brilliant, we have so much snow too, hardly stopped. Toddler hugs just had his 1st snow run down the centre of the road where snow is compacted- everywhere else up to his knees 🤣
Wow we've had quite a bit of the white stuff but not as much! Enough for me not to go running, there's too much ice on the pavements. Just dog walking for the time being for me too. I bet your dog is loving the snow! 😃❄️🐶🐾
I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much snow, so much more water too when it melts! Walking only for me too at the moment, no dog though so drag Mr J out for his daily walk 😁🤗
Very nice for anyone who lives close to the skiing Buddy. What brilliant conditions it must be. No snow for us, but gee it is cold out there. I did not envy the runners on the prom one bit today.
That is a lot of snow, i’m jealous as we only had a dusting and none for the last couple of years Great that the dog loves it and hope it melts soon so you can have a dry run
Great photos of the snow Buddy34, I wasn't going to run tomorrow anyway because of my leg which isn't too bad, I just measured the snow depth on a old bunker outside my door at 5 pm, the depth of the snow is 24cm/9 and a half inches, I went a walk with Holly, she loves the snow.
Wow! That's a lot of snow lovely photos. Only a bit of snow here this morning but I avoided it by running on the sunny of the road where it had melted of the pavement
Only snow flurries down here in the south west, but the wind is bitterly cold. I probably picked the wrong route into the wind along the coast road. Just exhausting. 🥴
Lovely photos and it’s great to hear it’s something you can learn. I have had a lot ofnmud runs and yes your legs especially calves work a lot but it isngetting a bit easier balance wise. Here it’s only a powdering of snow and rather worried about ice under it so having a rest!
ThTs a lot of snow ❄️ well done for getting out there, just summoning up the will power to go out later on this very cold morning! Thank you for the inspiration!
