Looking to improve your 5k time?

I’ve spent the past 5 weeks trialling the Runners World 5k Challenge and all I can say is that it worked.

The idea is to run a baseline over any course you fancy, and then run it again in 5 weeks time. If all goes to plan you should see an improvement in your time.

So if you’re stuck for something to aim for, and need a challenge, then why not give it a go? The beauty of it is that it’s all about your speed and times, so it should work wherever your natural pace is.

I saw an improvement of almost one minute which I must admit I was not expecting.

Happy running folks 😀👍

Great idea Brian. Its great to see a difference on a route you've ran before 😊👍

See my most recent two run reports. Without intentionally changing anything I got faster on both compared with similar runs about a week or more before.

Excellent posts nowster. So much detail 😅. It’s definitely encouraging to see an improvement. Nice one. 👍
