High hamstring tendonopathy.

I took to this running lark later in life. Completed C25k and have been slowly building on that. Time has improved slightly and distance has been building slowly towards 10k.

Now I've been struggling with this dull tight ache in my left buttock and tightness in my hamstring. I've had visits to a well recommended physio who has been working on me. Have been advised that this tendon where it attaches to the sit bone has poor blood supply and is slow to heal.

Went for a slow jog 5k today and it's very sore this evening. So frustrating as I have been really enjoying my running and so good for my mental health.

Anyone have experience of this injury and what helps please.
