So after everyone’s helpful suggestions about trying the magic plan I took a look at it and decide to give it a go but starting at Week 3. As I was already doing 5-6kms every two nights I thought Week 3 (which goes from 3.5 - 7kms) might be a good starting point. I’m glad I chose it because I was tired and the 3.5kms was all I felt up to tonight. I was worn out by all the GameStop and vaccine news this week. Supposedly there will be snow this weekend which will be fun if you’re a big child like me 😂
I ran part of my usual route listening to the empire magazine podcast. Weather was cold but not freezing 👍 Hope everyone has a great weekend

Well done starting the plan. I hope you have a great journey to 10k. We have snow, the 1st of the year and the tiniest sprinkling but snow all the same. Happy running 🤗
Great stuff. I am sort of doing the 60 minute plan. 3K, 4K and currently moving up to 55 minutes next weekend. I will need to up the shorter runs before moving on to the distance plan but will take about twice as long as the plan's timetvmble to get there - hopefully by my birthday before May. Trying a few simple intervals in my short run to help my pace.
You will get there easily - just be careful if you get tired doing those longer distances in the dark.
