That's what Coach Bennett said this morning during the 12 minute run prior to Runners Up hill workout. So having done my hilly ploddle 2 days ago here I was at the bottom of an incline intent on doing hill intervals - moi?! I did it tho, might not have been elegant, but I did it in my time, my pace! And the joy was thereπŸ˜€

Sounds like you enjoyed that which is the most important thing. Happy running πŸ€—

Well done Blossom. Sounds like a great achievement & satisfaction. Not many hills where I am and have avoided the one and only big hill. Maybe I’ll attempt it now I’ve read your post 😍

Oh, don't blame me if it goes pear shaped! The Runner Up NRC run was so good, coach Blue ? was inspiring! I enjoyed 'going for it' as fast as I could, haha!πŸ˜€

Fantastic, very well done! You're braver than me, I try to avoid hills at all costs πŸ₯΅πŸ₯΅ πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Can't avoid them where I live if I want to 'exercise from home' πŸ™„

Great result Blossom, once you've managed it you won't even notice it next time 🀣. Anyway great for the stamina. All I've got are hills round me, I had to give up worrying about them. πŸ‘

Thanks! Yes I'm all hills, so trying to do 'exercise from home' means all hills! I did enjoy it, in a weird sort of wayπŸ™„

Week done. I've been doing a few hills recently but hill intervals sounds a steep too far for me! 😳

Well done. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘I avoid hills if I can but I need to attempt them to increase my distances as there is a hill on every route out of the village. So I do need to bite the bullet🀣🀣🀣

Bite the bullet! Same here, I live on a hill! I enjoyed it, weirdly!

Hill intervals! 😱I really need to pluck up the courage and force myself to bite the bullet on that one.

Well done πŸ˜€

As Scruff55 above - bite the bullet! I've been thinking about it for a good six weeks and today seemed right. πŸ˜€

Something I've thought of doing for a very long time but keep wimping out of! Once I've increased my distance again I shall give it a go using you as inspiration! Well done - what doesn't kill you makes you stronger - as the saying goes..... 🀣🀣

I've been thinking about it for about 6 weeks and now I've done it once I'm keen to do it again to see if it's easier. Apparently it takes about 6 weeks before it makes a real difference to speed/stamina. πŸ€ͺ

Crikey that's a lot of pain and a long lag in gain.... Go you! πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ

Well done πŸ‘ŒSix weeks 😱I did have a sneaky look at the run on NRC though and when I was walking the dog this morning I did see a suitable hill to β€˜ploddle up’ πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Maybe I should walk up it a few times first πŸ€”πŸ˜‚
