What a difference 2 days make

So on Saturday I had written a post about running in the snow .

Well its all gone . You wouldn't even know there had been any snow at all. I went out today for a longer run and yes it was better underfoot but omg the wind. It was about 40 - 50 mph , driving rain and not once was that wind at my back . But you know I loved it. It just shows what we are capable of when determined enough.

I was soaked right through, had to literally fight to get my clothes of as they were stuck to me .

Happy all weather running😊😊

Snow is gone, but not for long, good run for you in the wind and rain, this evening that strong wind from the south west changed direction to a much colder easterly, the start once again of colder condidions with snow forecast for Wednesday.

That’s definitely wet & windy - a great effort and that’s just as getting out of running clothes too!πŸŒ¨πŸ‘πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Excellent news Buddy - I always seem to end up running in strong winds, in fact I’m well known for it! I’m delighted to know someone else out there likes it too!

Great to see the back of the snow even although it was wild and wet yesterday. Go us brave girls getting out in it, I was soaked within 2 mins and even had to take my glasses off and run blind!!!

Would a baseball cap help keep the rain off your glasses?

Yep, I went out on Sunday after the ice went (I'm guessing I'm near you). Neglected to wear a hat, so the rain was blinding me. I really should know better in Scotland...

We should probably all know better, but we still do it. πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

I know! If Mr. PC asks "are you going out in that?" I know I'm doing it right 😁😁. Also yes x10000 to the baseball cap - it helps a lot in keeping the rain off your specs, & you are definitely not too old!

What a fantastic time and distance especially in the wind. We have another covering of snow again this morning. It’s really a struggle to get a run in.

Wow that was a corker! Fab time and distance in any conditions - but under those conditions??? You'll be sprouting a cape next πŸš€βš‘
