Well this morning I had listened to various pieces of advice...
Got my kit ready before bed ( don't know why I stopped doing that )
Didn't set a route or time to aim for....
Just went out and ran , tried to consciously keep pace slower so breathing stayed steady , was comfortable plodding along tunes in ear..
No ice was a major bonus !!
Decided today was going to be a good running day so thought I'll keep going til watch says 5k then turn back.....telling myself I can stop and walk it if too much ...but managed it.... think if laptop hadn't been calling me I could have actually gone on for a bit longer...
So glad I managed this today as was fearing the worse that I was an intruder and not actually going to keep this up..
Hope you've all had / have good runs today if a running day for you as its milder out there today well is here in Hull...
Have a great week

Congratulations on a great run.I know what you mean about not believing you can do it .Once I have run the first couple of kilometers (on a good day) in my head I become a runner.
The rest of the time I don't really believe that I can run.
