Out of the loop but returning

Hi all. Haven't posted for ages and have been somewhat lax with my running - ran a 10k at the beginning of Dec and did a couple of short runs since; but yesterday I ran for 95 minutes (very, very slowly) because I was enjoying it. I'm never going to be quick or even average, but I can't believe that I enjoy running. I started the CT5K in April from never having run, and realise that it it time, rather than speed or distance which most motivates me.

Good to see you on here again! Nothing wrong with slow 😊, they are my favourite kind of runs. Can’t beat a slow run. 👍

Thanks Jools. It does make me realise that 50% of running is mental - if you think you can do do, it's most likely you can. Need to do a bit of short, speed work too though.

I’ve been neglecting those lately, although I do speed up for the last km on most of my runs! 😊
