My second comeback run of 2x8 minutes. The first 5 was its usual (not) charming self but after I settled down .....it was greaaatttt! Although it was absolutely freezing. In fact it was beyond freezing - it was bleeding Baltic. So much so that Fab's pal Mr Garmin gave me a special badge. 🤣🤣🤣 So there we have it - Blue Running.
Disclaimer: No foul aka "blue" language was associated with this run. I was too busy being a smug git. 😇

Ha ha really? not any "blue" language about being so cold 😂🤣I'm glad you've made it back out again and enjoying your run despite the weather.
Weirdly as your post pinged on my phone I was looking at the Garmin badges. I've had the watch for months but have never really looked at them before! It seems I received the Frosty badge for my very short 2k run on New Year's Eve 😊
Hah another Blue Runner then!!! Actually sounds like Allbarron deserves one as well. Can't get rid of the underlining so I'm just going to pretend that everything I say is really important.... 🤣🤣🤣
I don’t blame the smug you went out and got a prize too, I like the idea of a toasty badge too 😁. I found my thighs remained cold but every where else too warm, still working on cold running things, perhaps I should deploy my mud 😂
No blue language for you but that was a nice cold run and you deserve that blue badge, this winter has seen quite a lot of snow compared to recent winters, could be more snow yet to come before the end of the month, however, next week it's going to get less cold.
Well that's a relief. Its hard to find somewhere safe to run at the moment - what with the hordes out for exercise and the ice on the ground as well....
