So sorry to hear your news Rebecca , I hope it is only mild and you can recover soon 🙏🙏🙏
Take care of yourself.
Best wishes !
Oh dear you poor thing, rest and get well the runs will still be there when you are better x
Oh no? I hope it’s just a mild case and you’re soon back up and running pretty soon...but...take it easy when you do eventually get back out...your body will be using all its reserves to fight this...hope you stay entertained on here x
Sorry to hear that, hope it wont be too bad for you, i'm sure all that running will help fight that horid virus, you'll be back out running before you know it. 🙏
Hope it’s just a mild case 9weeks. I suffered similar in November. A slight cold followed a couple of days later by me losing my taste and smell. I went for a test and it was positive. But that’s all I had - I consider myself very fortunate, and on day 10 I was able to run gently (I felt fine). I hope you are too. Take care.’🥰
Thank you cheekychipmunks that is good to read. I am so glad you were OK.
I felt a bit shivery on Saturday but felt I had got cold walking home late from work on Friday. I did not have a temperature. Went to work on the Sunday felt tired and a little achy but had worked 5 long days so put it down to that. I did cough twice but have a mask on for 12.5 hours so thought it was because of that. Monday I decided to rest as felt tired, again put that down to work. Felt great on Tuesday really rested, went to work asked the doctor if she could listen to my chest, I told her I had coughed up sputum twice and she said I needed to get tested so must have started on Saturday.
I will take it easy when I am able to get back out running. Great to be able to read how everyone else is doing.
Take care
Rebecca
Oh no Rebecca!Hope you don’t feel too poorly and get well soon.
Take care of yourself ❤️❤️❤️
Take care of yourself, Rebecca! The runs will still be there for you when you are ready.

Hoping you have a mild case and recover quickly.Time to be ultra kind to yourself and rest ready to return to your running when you better.
Take care
Sorry to hear that Rebecca - I tested positive on 30 Dec so I should be coming out of isolation on 9 Jan. I thought I was fine, but as the days go by I'm finding myself more and more tired. Running seems like a thing of the past!
I really hope you recover soon, and when we get back out there running, spring will be that much closer!
Be kind to yourself during this time x
Thank you so much 58soon.
Oh I am really sorry to hear that. Bless you I pray the fatigue passes. Ah it isn’t you will be back out running once you are better.
Yes that is true!!
I am taking things easy, my mum has it as well so focusing on her she has a little cough bless God she will be OK. How is your family doing?
I am thinking of you.
Rebecca ❤️ X

😊
Even a cockney gal needs flowers when she's poorly and can't run 👨⚕️
Ouch!
I have a random swab test for a large survey polling company to do tomorrow morning at home, to be picked up by a courier some time during the day.
I'm also not running at the moment due to an aching knee.
You keep yourself safe, and get better soon.
Thank you so much Nowster,
I hope your test is negative.
Hope your knee feels better soon, well done for getting out for a walk today.
Take care
Rebecca
The swab test was performed (by my partner, a nurse) at 7.50am, ahead of the courier pick-up, which was right at the end of the time slot they'd given, at lunchtime. There was an online survey to complete afterwards. (What have you been up to? Who do you meet indoors/outdoors? Did you meet anyone over Christmas? etc.)
There's the faint possibility that I might have had it back in late February 2020, but it's common for me to have heavy colds around that time. This test won't show that, of course.
Are you still feeling OK?
Ah that is good! (I am a nurse too!)I hope your test is negative. I have filled in all the track and trace details they are really on the ball it is so impressive.
Yes I think so. I have done a few bits at home today as rested yesterday all day then could not sleep last night!!
I am feeling tired this evening praying I have got it mildly.
Take care
Very sorry to hear from you Rebecca that you have contacted Covid 19, I hope you recover quickly and get back to running as soon as possible.
Ouch! Hoping you get a mild version of it...
I had ‘it’ back in September fortunately only mild. Be prepared that in the weeks after your isolation period you may feel really tired. That took about 2 months to fully clear for me.
Running bounced back quite quickly though you’ll be goad to hear!
Best wishes,
Dave
Thank you Dave,
Sorry to hear you had the virus. I am glad it was mild, I am hoping mine is. How long did you have symptoms for? Did you feel better as the days went on?
A few of my nursing friends have said the same thing.
Glad running bounced back quickly.
Take care
Rebecca
It probably lasted about 4-5 days, felt like a heavy cold with hot/cold sweats and pressure on chest/back around sternum height. If I remember, I started feeling the worst was over after around 3 days.
It was the tiredness that followed that was the killer - got a child that doesn’t sleep well, so that probably exacerbated the tiredness symptoms as well.
Hoping you’re through it quickly!
Oh no, really sorry to hear that fingers crossed you ride through it without any difficulties.
That is bad news. I do hope you feel better soon. Take care, plenty of rest and fluids. Look after yourself x
Oh no hope u are ok take care x
Sorry to hear that. Take care of yourself and rest. Hope your mom is ok too 🤗Time to catch up with a box set or two after being so busy 😉
Oh dear😒sending best wishes from another sarf lundener😀, take care.
So sorry to hear this, wishing you and your loved ones all the best. 🤗
Oh No! I do hope you get over this awful virus soon. Your runs will be there waiting for you when you do. Take care Rebecca - look after yourself 😘🤗
You take care of yourself Rebecca. There will always be pavements, parks, and birds singing, people waving, and horses just watching; all for you to enjoy again just as soon as you are able. And...after all, 'Homes Under The Hammer' I think is still on the telly box in the mornings, but for the moment, I'd keep off the custard slices! Take care, and we'll look forward to your running tales again when you are able. 030961.
Take good care of yourself Rebecca, I had it very mildly in March, but it took a good 4 weeks for my lungs to feel normal when running again. Start back gently when you are able. Hope you feel better soon xx
Thank you Sea-run
So sorry you had the virus. Thank you for the advice. Gosh, that is awful. I hope you are fully recovered now. I am going to take it very slowly when I am able to get back out running again.
Take care xx
I'm all good now thank you, but so worried about getting this new strain. Hope your mum gets better soon too, such a scary time for you xxx
I will pray for you as well as for my brother and all those who are awaiting results. For you I hope for mild symptoms and an excellent recovery.
Sending best wishes for a full recovery x
Sorry to hear that Rebecca, hope you feel better soon x
Get well soon. Hopefully it won't be long before you're back in your running shoes.
Oh no. Hope you’re okay. I tested positive on 19 Dec and still crook. I’m really missing running (and wine!) but can barely walk for 20 mins (and very slowly). Just hoping I don’t have to start C25K again when I feel well enough but if I do them so be it! Take care, rest and stay hydrated xxx
Sorry to hear that Rebecca, hope you get well soon!!!
