I found this much harder than my 1st 10k but afterwards realised that it was faster than before which probably made it that but harder. I thought I was going as slow as I could so don’t quite know how that happened 🤗 it’s all good 💪😂. Maybe the few Fartleks and Interval runs I have done have helped.

Hopefully some more of these this month as I’m also doing Dry January 😇

Congrats on your second speedier 10k! 👏🏼 I’d like to try some interval running too, great to hear you’ve noticed a difference in your pace 👍🏼

Happy Running!

Thank you acountrycabbage I quite like the Fartleks and Intervals so far. It feels good to run faster for a short period of time rather than staying slow to gain a longer distance.

Well done! Yes, good to see improvement in pace. I've done fartleks and intervals but still plod along at the same old same old. Never mind 😊

Thank you Blossom- I’m not sure if it is that but there was definitely a change 🤗 but I am still a plodder 🙄🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

I'm also doing dry January so it will be interesting to see if there is any difference. I was intending to get a good run in tomorrow morning as I go back to work Monday, but we are forecast 6 hours of heavy snow overnight 🌨️😭. So annoying!! 😡

Yes Maz1103 it will be interesting to see the effects of dry January. It must be annoying when the weather stops play and good intentions but then again you might end up with a pretty picture when you look out of your windows tomorrow. I think all I’ll see here is more grey sky 🙄🤗

Good luck on your Dry January - lots of respect with that. I did it in November and it wasn't easy!!

Lol wow it’s so funny to hear try that 😂 I don’t feel that way I always feel like I’m the one learning and aiming for and being inspired by others but it’s nice that you say that. 🤗
