New year fireworks !

Happy New Year, all ! First run of the year - hurrah ! A clear 6k and a nice 388 calories shed to compensate for special post run new year brunch 😋

Decided to create my own fireworks aswell 🥳

And it took me just over the point on the Pennine way where I have just over 99 miles to go. Finishing line in sight ! Wish me luck for Sunday - the plan is my first 10 mile.... gulp. My next ‘long run’ on my Garmin half marathon plan is 8miles but I always count the warm up & cool down on top. I will be ‘jeffing’ it but longer run to walk ratio. Posting here the intention as way of not being able to wriggle out of it !! Previous record was 9.34 miles on 20th December so should be able to do it ...... 😶
