20.20k in the final week of 2020...thanks to Sola

A big thanks to you SueAppleRun for getting me back to 9k today...it's been months since I've done that distance due to struggling with low heartrate training, so I had no plans for anything but a 5k today.

Then I saw Sola's post saying she'd hit 20.20k in the last week and I thought, well that's a good idea, I wonder. I checked and had done 11.2k in my last 2 runs so it needed to be exactly 9k today to meet the challenge.

It went perfectly, felt tiring but achievable throughout which regularly put a smile on my face and just to top it off I reached my target just outside my house and as Let it Snow came on over my headphones...the only Christmas song I have in around 4 hours of music 🎄😊

So that's it, 20.20k in the last week of 2020...unless I manage to squeeze another run in on New Years Eve, no better way to celebrate 🏃‍♀️🎉

Aww thanks for the mention, you did it in 3 runs it took me 4 and yesterday was so wet it was more of a plod and a paddle

But we both did 20.20k in a week and are both much fitter going into 2021, yay us 😊

Yes! 😀 and I found a real joy in running which I lose a bit in winter
