So my daughter and her partner spoilt me this Christmas with a new garmin 😍

Trying to get to grips with it is fun lol...

I'll get there I guess but today I accidentally stopped the run when trying to skip a naff song...so had to restart oops..

Good thing is it links to strava easy and I don't have to carry phone with me.

I waited for the icy paths to thaw out and headed out.. only my 2nd attempt since over indulgence of bad food plus lots of rum over Christmas...

Unfortunately a struggle again 😪

Also think the upset ,stress etc we've experienced over this Christmas period has affected me more than I thought too.

So I plan on a few days of non running, perhaps a walk or even a swim to test watch further and get some normality back to diet n hydration then head back out in New year..

Same here with me. I'm taking a loose break from running. I ran last Monday, played a 7 a side football match on Saturday and I am going to go out for a run now today. But my plan is to run and walk a lot in January. Enjoy your new Garmin and best wishes for a much better 2021.

Yey - new Garmin ! Have fun ! I’m still getting to know mine having got one only in September - can’t imagine life before Garmin now 🤣
