My 25th Dec (traditionally known as Egg and Chip Day here) consisted of a 5km run, steering a full length historic narrow boat through locks, a plate full of egg and chips, and After Eights π
A thoroughly enjoyable day, with plenty of smiley people out along the towpath in the fresh air.
OK, so itβs the only run Iβve done this month, and Iβve only reached 1/4 of my yearly mileage goal this year, but Iβm still getting out there occasionally and hope to do more running next year. I was gifted a FitBit Inspire HR for my birthday, so I can now have a go at running by heart rate.
Best wishes for a happy and healthy new year VRBs. π΄ββ οΈ

I've really enjoyed running based on HR, once I changed my settings to % heart rate reserve instead of %max HR. I'm finding it easier to run slower with a lower HR than I did last month when I first got my FR245. It is nice to have something other than pace to focus on.
