I don't seem to have any festive running gear I'm afraid - not even antlers or a Santa hat. So I thought I'd run with some holly and ivy.
It was my last chance to beat my week 1 time in the speed challenge today. Week 2 and 3 have been a bit hard for me and were slower than week 1. So today I abandoned the trail shoes and put on my Asics, attached my festive holly and ivy and set off. Lovely sunny day although I did have to walk up the really muddy track as my running shoes don't grip like the trail ones and the tractors have left it like a quagmire. I got to my speed kilometer and just hurtled along and I managed to beat my week 1 time by 8 seconds. Success!

Congratulations on smashing your speed challenge! 👊
And great solution to a bingo conundrum. I’m struggling with the festive gear too; just lack all the necessary accoutrements. I don’t have any jingle bells either. Think I might just double- or triple-tick the gps-art square... or the post-run treat square (but maybe that’s cheating?) 😂
Ooh post-run treat square I think. After all it is Christmas and the end of a rubbish year. Did think I might steal my cat's collar for a bell - she wouldn't mind lending it to me😂
It’s amazing what festive gear we can find when we need to Lifluf! You’ve ticked 2 bingo squares I reckon - running in some festive attire and making a picture with your holly and ivy which you’ve shared with us. Result! And well done on shaving off that 8 seconds - it all helps!
Haha. No it was surprisingly soft because I picked it just after I set off and it was on the outside of my running jacket. I am quite pleased with my time. I had no idea I could run that fast. Normally my pace is a couple of minutes slower.
