Week 5 Magic Plan

I have been focusing on time, this is going really well. I am really enjoying finder longer and interesting routes I can start from home, here in a hilly bit of Anglesey.

60mins feels very achievable but nowhere near9/10km. Possibly 8km, so I think I will segue into the distance plan

I did one run along the coast (car in for MOT) and really got a lot further 7.5km in 44 mins, so at that pace the 60min 9km would be more realistic on a flat route.

My elevation is shown on my watch, is there a way of calculating this into the run to give an equivalent distance, like how we age adjust time?

Great distance and you're running good times. Keep the pace slower on your longer runs using the short ones for speed work. Happy running 🤗

Don't worry about speed while you work through the plan. You're doing really well anyway. I recommend doing the timed plan and then moving across to distance. That way you don't put yourself under too much pressure and can enjoy the journey. Happy running.
