This is by way of an introduction of sorts, since I'm new here. I've been in the C25K community for years but since this summer have returned to more serious (i.e. regular) running and have found 10K to be a good distance for me. The other pirates hate it of course, me banging on about gait analysis and the Toxic 10 when I should be robbin' treasure an' pillagin', whatever pillagin' is.
During lock down I qualified for my bus pass, a reward that has proved to be of zero benefit in a year of limited public transport and anyway, we had our bus stop on the Black Pig (niche reference there for those of a certain age๐) blown away in a storm. I'm also a volunteer and participant at my local Parkrun - an activity of which I am a great supporter.
I've signed up for the virtual Edinburgh 2020 half-M and need to get it run by Crimbo, although I'm only managing 14km on my long runs currently, so it may be a run/jog/walk job.
OK, enough solipsistic blether, me hearties. Ooh, and indeed, Arghhh.
