Winter speed challenge : what a rubbish week for the weather, I can honestly say I'm not a wet weather runner at all, but I had this weeks challenge to complete & I'm not one to give up . So off I went into the cold , I'd asked google for a weather update prior to braving the outside & she said it would be dry for the next hour : I have to say 'she lied' as 5 mins into my warm up walk it started raining however this might have helped my speed as I couldn't wait to get out of the rain and the result was an impressive 5.59 for the 1k. Fingers crossed for a dry week next week
