Went for a moderate 5k this morning. It was foggy and spitting at the same time but I'm fairly hardy so it was fine. I decided to add my Strava art at the end as my cool down. I was going to run around randomly in the middle in order to 'colour in' my star (yes, it is supposed to be a star) but I was running/walking in an uneven field with long soggy cold grass. By the time I had done the outside of the shape my running bottoms were wet to the knee so I called it a day.
I must say I thought I was running straight lines between the star points - would have looked much better if I had.

Unfortunately it was only after Lifluf had read it that I noticed which is why I reposted to him🤣 I frequently edit my posts as I have a bad habit of posting before checking 🤣 I was a computer science teacher so really should know better
I don't use the route-finding option. Just press record and run. Quite tricky to imagine where the star points were- i sort of lined them up with trees on the edge of the field.⭐
Oh I went out first thing on Saturday. Always prefer to run at the beginning of the day - it sets me up for the rest of the day and I'm just to settled and/or distracted later on.
A brilliant star Lifluf, well done. It's a lot harder than you imagine it will be to get straight lines and to remember where you need to turn and things when you're actually doing it isn't it. Perhaps why people use streets rather than 'free-styling'!? Yours is definitely worthy of the tick on the Bingo card though, well done. ✅👍🎅🤶🦌🎄⛄⭐
Thank you FRB. I don't have enough streets around here to do art. There's a 4k loop i do that looks a bit like a gift tag but I thought a star in a field might be better 😊
Great star - I though of trying one of those on the Sports Centre playing field but was put off by the mud and wet grass.Well done for braving the fog and damp weather
